MANILA, Philippines ? Nigerian forward Nosa Omorogbe scored 19 points as University of Perpetual Help repelled Lyceum, 71-66, Saturday in the NCAA Season 89 men?s basketball tournament at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.
Guard Juneric Baloria added 18 more for the Altas, who hiked their record to 3-1.
Perpetual Help held a double-digit lead at halftime, 42-30, before the Pirates responded by outscoring the Pirates, 25-11, in the third quarter.
Both teams went neck-and-neck in the final period before Baloria uncorked a triple that gave the lead back to the Altas for good, 62-59, with 5:29 remaining.
The Pirates, who were led by Dexter Zamora?s 13 points and Shane Ko?s 11, dropped to 2-2.
