Tips To Improve Your Self Esteem Power

Article by Nick Clipton

In self improvement, we talk a lot about self esteem, the ability to stay calm, composed and confident when facing tough challenges. Basically, self esteem is the pillars that support your self improvement and development. So, if you view self improvement as a table, self esteem is the table?s legs. They got to be strong to support the table.

If we have a low self esteem, our confidence will tumble and we won?t be able to face daily challenges. Our self esteem is like a dash board, and hence a dart pin can land on it any time without a warning. If we?ve low self esteem, a small dart pin can just destroy our entire self confidence. That?s why building a strong self esteem is critical to your self development.

Following are some tips you may find useful in helping you to harness your self esteem.

1. Learn to interact with positive people. Do not shy away from people, learn how to socialize and interact with people. Overcome your shyness, we only live once in this world, so there is nothing to be ashamed of. The more you socialize and interact with people around you, the more comfortable you will become, and your self esteem will build up slowly.

2. Avoid negative work environment. Stay away from a work environment that promotes unhealthy competition, a dog-eats-dog and back-stabbing work culture where everybody is fighting just to get ahead. This is where non-appreciative people usually thrive. Your self esteem will be destroyed when no one appreciate your efforts and contributions. If you feel that the company you?re working right now has such environment, look for a new job and get out from there as soon as you can.

3. Acknowledge your past mistakes and learn from the experiences. It?s okay to cry when we experience pain. But don?t let pain transform itself into FEAR. There is a time to cry from your misfortune and there is a time to recover. Do not dwell on your problems, learn from it, shake it off and move on. If you dwell on a problem for too long, it might grab you by the tail, swing you around and totally destroy your self esteem. Don?t let that happens to you. Treat each failure and mistake as a lesson.

4.If you have a problem, do not avoid or pretend that it doesn?t exist. Face your problem and deal with it. Get help from family members or closed friends if necessary. Share with them openly about the problem you?re facing and ask for help. You will be amazed that people are generally willing to help, sometimes all you need to do is just ASK. Families and friends can help boost your self esteem and motivate you to face your problem.

5. Do not worry about the future or things that haven?t occurred. Just strive to do your best and do the right things today and tomorrow will take care of itself.

6. Think positively. Always think about the good qualities and abilities in you. Focus on your strengths instead of weaknesses. Everything starts from your mind, if you think you can then you can and vice versa. Make positive thinking becomes your second habit and your self esteem will build up in no time.

7. Avoid negative view and be optimistic. Always try to see the positive part of any problem first. Wish for the best things in life and believe that every challenge or problem you experience is for the benefit of you to improve. Don?t wrap yourself up with all the negativities of the world. In building self esteem, we must learn how to make the best out of worst situations.

People who feel good about themselves are more likely to engage in conduct which is in their own interest, but those who suffer from low self-esteem often see themselves as unlikable and unattractive to others. The development of high self-esteem begins at birth and is heavily influenced by the reactions and responses of other significant. A positive self-esteem is reflected in an upbeat, outgoing personality, while the negative self-esteem often leads to failure, an inability to interact properly with others.

SEO Reseller Programs: Creating Business Success

A SEO reseller is an individual or a business with clients that need online marketing services. The reseller often provides social media optimization, content writing, and other common online marketing services. However, they don?t provide SEO services themselves due to either lack of resources or expertise. These companies often expand their services by outsourcing SEO services to other companies which are normally the SEO services? provider.

The SEO reseller operates by usually setting the price of services to the clients. This is often the best aspect for the reseller in the arrangement because the reseller will be able to set the price as they want and get a considerable profit while not actually performing the services themselves. In what is referred to as white label operations, the SEO reseller and service provider make money.

The white label resellers usually need to only provide customer service and support while the provider actually does the work.

In many cases the SEO reseller will often make it seem that the actual service is implemented by themselves. This often results in the customers believing that the reseller has its own SEO department and specialty. With a white label company it will often rebrand anything that reaches the client?s view as long as the SEO reseller has the ability to access their client base.

Reselling SEO services, is often the primary way in which SEO resellers make their income. It is also a possibility that other businesses resell the SEO as another part of the services. No matter what the scenario, a white label SEO Reseller offers have become one part of the SEO service industry and the most common way in which they make their income.

Although the SEO reseller business made lots of revenue for many entities, there are experts who believe that the industry hasn?t tapped out the market as much as it was capable of. This explains why many people and businesses are looking into becoming a reseller where they can look to provide more services and increase their profits without needing to get new workers or gaining knowledge of the SEO process.

If you run a business that is in the online marketing sector, you will be able to have a large network of clients. However you might not be able to provide all of the services needed to meet customers? demands. The profits gained from this sector are going up and the opportunity to make it in this business is available. With careful research by looking into many reseller programs you will be able to take advantage of this great opportunity as a SEO reseller.

Family of doctor in bin Laden hunt slams trial

PESHAWAR, Pakistan (AP) ? The family of the Pakistani doctor sentenced to 33 years in prison for helping the United States track down Osama bin Laden said Monday the man is innocent and dismissed his trial as a sham.

The conviction of Shakil Afridi last week added another pressure point in Pakistan's already fractured relationship with the U.S. Senior American officials have urged Pakistan to release the doctor, regarding him as a hero who worked to stop the terrorist leader. Islamabad views Afridi as a traitor who colluded with a foreign intelligence agency in an illegal operation on Pakistani soil.

Also Monday, two suspected U.S. missile strikes pounded militant hide-outs in a tribal region close to Afghan border, killing nine alleged insurgents, officials said. There have been five such attacks this week. The strikes have also raised tensions between the U.S. and Pakistan.

Afridi ran a vaccination campaign on behalf of the CIA to collect blood samples of bin Laden's family at a compound in Abbotabad where U.S. commandos killed the al-Qaida leader in May 2011. The samples were intended to help the U.S. match the family's DNA to verify his presence in the garrison city.

Afridi's older brother Jamil and two lawyers representing the doctor said at a news conference in the frontier city of Peshawar that they will appeal the verdict, which was handed down last week in a tribal court whose proceedings were never made public.

"This was a one-sided decision," said Jamil. "All allegations against him are false. He didn't do anything against the national interest."

Afridi was tried under the Frontier Crimes Regulations, the set of laws that govern Pakistan's semiautonomous tribal region. The FCR doesn't allow suspects to have legal representation, present material evidence or cross-examine witnesses. Verdicts are handled by a government official in consultation with a council of elders, instead of by a judge.

The raid by American commandos infuriated Pakistani officials who were not told ahead of time or of the CIA operation in their country to track him down. Afridi was arrested in the weeks after the raid. He was convicted and sentenced last week for conspiring against the state.

The lawyers said authorities have not given them documents related to the case, including a copy of the verdict.

Afridi's brother said the doctor had an American visa and pointed out that he stayed in Pakistan after the bin Laden raid for 20 days, and didn't leave the country.

"Had he been guilty, he would have escaped," Jamil Afridi said.

He did not comment on whether he thought his brother should have helped the U.S.

The case puts the family in a delicate situation. Anti-American sentiment is widespread in Pakistan, and people who are viewed as supporting the U.S. or working for Washington are sometimes targeted by militants, especially in the tribal areas.

In his first comments on Afridi's conviction, Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani called Afridi's actions a "serious offense" but said he had the right to a fair trial.

"His deed is not good," Gilani said in an interview with Pakistani Geo News TV. "His deed is a serious offense," Gilani said, but Afridi should have an access to the judicial process.

U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta on Sunday criticized Pakistan over Afridi's conviction and sentencing, calling it "disturbing."

U.S.-Pakistani relations plummeted to new lows in November, when American airstrikes inadvertently killed 24 Pakistani soldiers, prompting Islamabad to block U.S. and NATO supply lines into Afghanistan.

Pakistan has demanded an apology over the raid and an end to drone strikes against militants along the Afghan border as a precursor to reopening the supply lines.

The U.S. has shown no sign of stopping the covert CIA attacks, which have picked up pace this week after a lull for most of the year.

In the latest attack Monday, a pair of suspected U.S. missiles hit a compound and a vehicle in Datta Khel in North Waziristan, less than 24 hours after another such strike late Sunday had killed five suspected Islamist militants in the same tribal region, Pakistani intelligence officials said. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to reporters.

The identities of the dead were not known, but the region is home to al-Qaida militants and insurgents fighting in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Feeling strong emotions makes peoples' brains 'tick together'

Experiencing strong emotions synchronises brain activity across individuals, research team at Aalto University and Turku PET Centre in Finland has revealed.

Human emotions are highly contagious. Seeing others' emotional expressions such as smiles triggers often the corresponding emotional response in the observer. Such synchronisation of emotional states across individuals may support social interaction: When all group members share a common emotional state, their brains and bodies process the environment in a similar fashion.

Researchers at Aalto University and Turku PET Centre have now found that feeling strong emotions makes different individuals' brain activity literally synchronous.

The results revealed that especially feeling strong unpleasant emotions synchronised brain's emotion processing networks in the frontal and midline regions. On the contrary, experiencing highly arousing events synchronised activity in the networks supporting vision, attention and sense of touch.

Sharing others' emotional states provides the observers a somatosensory and neural framework that facilitates understanding others' intentions and actions and allows to 'tune in' or 'sync' with them. Such automatic tuning facilitates social interaction and group processes, says Adjunct Professor Lauri Nummenmaa from the Aalto University.

The results have major implications for current neural models of human emotions and group behaviour. It also deepens our understanding of mental disorders involving abnormal socioemotional processing, Nummenmaa says.

Participants' brain activity was measured with functional magnetic resonance imaging while they were viewing short pleasant, neutral and unpleasant movies.
